Today I come to talk about one of the last tonics that has passed through my hands of Korean cosmetics that you know I adore to unsuspected limits. Of course, this time the comments will be a little different since I'm going to compare two tonics of the firm Klairs, the best-seller called Supple Preparation Facial Toner and Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner. So let's get to the mess.
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
So, we start with the first one, with the classic Supple Preparation Facial Toner. And I say classic because any lover of Korean cosmetics, at the very least, must have heard about it because he is super famous and one of the must have of any necessary cosmetic bag and one of the best selling products of this type of cosmetic.
For this reason, a while ago I knew I had to try it and I bought it since I wanted to check for myself if all the praises I received were true.
And you know, that the tonic It is a very important step in any routine worth its salt, both in the morning and at night, since after cleaning, it balances the pH of the skin in addition to preparing skin to apply the subsequent treatments, in addition to helping to improve the skin and make it less prone to irritation since the pores are not clogged, preventing skin problems such as the appearance of pimples or blackheads.
Well, I will tell you first, that it is a formulated tonic especially for sensitive skin, with plant extracts, so that among the main ingredients we find the Phyto-Oligo, which provides uniform hydration to the entire skin and prevents dryness, and wheat amino acids With anti-inflammatory properties, which reduce redness.
That said, the first thing that caught my attention of this product is that, unlike what I had previously used, it is a tonic with a density much higher than "normal". Yes, it is denser, it's not so liquid as a tonic to use what I liked a lot, things as they are, especially because for a season I bet to apply it with the palms of my hands (without cotton to avoid drag) to tapping, which makes it very easy not to drain between the fingers.
It has a peculiar aroma. It is soft but it smells like essential oils, but I insist, very soft and pleasant. I really like the fragrance that disappears as you apply it, things as they are.
As for the results, it seems a great tonic, probably the best mid-range I've tried. Now I am applying it at night only (in the morning I try another ...) when I am also more faithful to the products of Korean cosmetics. So, after double cleaning and passing my konjac sponge I apply it with my palms directly on the face and the skin drinks it instantly, calming the skin and moisturizing it a lot (much more than others I've used).
In fact, when I have stopped using it or changed it to another, I notice that my skin like I miss it, so I've decided that I don't change it at night. Definitely, a great purchase that I will not regret never and that I know that I will repeat (although I still have to finish it, it spreads much more than others but because it is not completely liquid and you can control more what you use). Its price is € 23.99.
Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner
And then we have the Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner what's wrong with it a packaging different the previous. And, while in the original, the bottle is dark brown with yellow label, in this case it is a transparent bottle with violet label.
Well, in addition to packaging, the only difference between this tonic and the previous one is that this one is free of all aroma. Yes, it has no fragrance, it is totally odorless Thus, while the original contains a selection of natural oils among which we find the Eucalyptus oil, lavender oil and orange oil, these are not found in the Unscented toner, but otherwise It is exactly the same as before, results included
So at this point, which one do we choose? Personally, I will tell you that I eat I love the aroma that the original has, I keep that one if I have to choose, however, deep down, I would not care because what counts is the product (which is totally the same) that is wonderful.
It is clear that this tonic is thought for people who are more sensitive to odors or, simply, not to add more aromas to such a long routine, with so many products. I fully share the theory, although I really like the smell of the original.
Its price, as you can understand, is the same as the previous one of € 23.99 and is also specially formulated for sensitive skin.
Conclusion, either is a great option, but in any case, it is a must have for all the followers of this Korean cosmetics.
